Things I said Alhumdulillah for in September…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in September:
1. Settling into the new routine of blended learning, with Master Z attending 2-3 days at school, and the rest of the week undergoing distance learning at home.
2. Getting to spend some 1 -1 time with Little Z on the morning that Master Z is at school. We colour, we build, and he helps stir a few things here and there as I cook the meals of the day.
3. Doing a little pouring art to upcycle a used candle glass container. Here’s the little video I made.
4. Starting a couple of new exciting brand collaborations. Looking forward to sharing it with you soon!
5. Designing my own little Masjid for the Ayeina Masjid Contest. Here is mine, but do have a scroll through the hashtag to see the abundance of creativity!
6. Getting myself a mini Journal and some new washitapes in the hopes to get creative again…
7. Sharing my experience of Potty Training Little Z. Read about how I finally manage to accomplish the task here.
8. Winter is coming! Foggy mornings and cooler evenings allowing for family walks.
9. Picnic in the park, accompanied by making some nature art with whatever the boys could find on the ground (sticks, leaves etc.) and playing a little cricket too.
10. Online shopping arriving at the door. Always gets me so excited.
11. Making a vanilla Dinosaur cake with rainbow sprinkles…only to have it consumed within two days!
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in September last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
