Things I said Alhumdulillah for in May…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in May:
1. Painting a T-shirt with Master Z.
2. Purchasing Waterbeads! Best thing to keep kids occupied for hours!
3. Working on a couple of doodle portrait commissions for Mummy On My Mind Store.
4. Gifting myself the Huda Beauty Diamond Balm as Eidi! Hehe!
5. Doing a mini sewing project, and it turned out to be rather therapeutic!
6. Baking Master Z’s chocolate birthday cake and it turning out pretty perfect!
7. Celebrating Master Z turning 6 years old! May Allah bless him with a long life filled with love and happiness In sha Allah.
8. Zoom calls with family!
9. Watching the boys giggle away during a bubble bath.
10. Master Z’s first baby tooth getting wobbly!
11. Having my Ramadan related articles published on the Baby&Child website as well as the Qidz UAE Blog.
12. Celebrating Eid with my family, albeit a very different one due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Still, I had my loved ones around me, food, shelter and good health…Alhumdulillah.
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in May last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
