Things I said Alhumdulillah for in June 2019…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in June:
- Bidding farewell to Ramadan 2019 and being thankful to Allah for giving me the opportunity to observe this month with my family, Alhumdulillah. As I have been doing for the past couple of years, here’s my Diary of Ramadan, including a short summary of daily reflections during the month of Ramadan.
- Celebrating Eid with my family, including my baby brother, Mr A.
- Little Z recovering from his cough that seemed to last for ages!
- Nattering on and on with my baby brother, catching up on absolutely everything since we last saw each other.
- Finalising the contract for our new home so that we can move in at the end of the month. The excitement is toooo much to deal with!
- Watching Master Z perform at his first ever school concert to Frozen’s “Let it Go!” and he did fabulously! I was spilling over with pride, watching him o stage.
- Celebrating one whole year of my first car – Zippy! Alhumdulillah
- Watching my boys absolutely love my baby brother, laughing and playing together. Also extremely thankful for an extra pair of helping hands.
- Family Time <3
- Accomplishing the seemingly never ending task of packing! Boxes upon boxes! Now, let the unpacking begin! Eeek!
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in June last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
