Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.

Things I said Alhumdulillah for in July:

1. School’s finally out for the summer! woohoo! Looking forward to all the late lie ins!
2. Touchdown of my baby bro in Dubai, spending the next 3 weeks with us, and we are so excited.
3. Preparing Eid sweets with the help of the kids and baby bro, which meant that the task actually took longer on some occasions than normal! ha! Here’s us making Eid Biscuits!
4. Celebrating Eid al Adha with the family…tried to get a lovely little Eid OOTD, but then THIS happened.
5. Dining once again at TresInd, it never dissapoints and is a place of culinary wonder!
6. Shopping, deep chats, making endless memories and watching my boys play with my baby bro during his trip here. Alhumdulillah.
7. Experiencing a little drizzle of rain in the middle of Dubai summer! The gloomy clouds was quite a sight for sore eyes, but I just as welcomed the sunny skies soon after!
8. Getting those dentist appointments ticked off our to-do list this summer!
9. Watching Master Z enjoying his time in the swimming pool!
10. When the boys are playing quietly on their own..ahh bliss!
11. Playing a game of chess with my 4 year old as he makes up his own rules and proceeds to kill my pieces at every turn.
