Things I said Alhumdulillah for in February 2020…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in February:
- Regaining my god skin after a month of it just being horrible and using tons of concealer!
- Ziplining across the BurJuman Atrium thanks to the Edge Adventures.
- Listening to Master Z read. It’s baffling that he only learnt to read at the start of this academic year at school and is doing so well.
- Discovering a free outdoor play area for the kids at Dubai Creek Harbour which the kids went wild for!
- Teaching Master Z arabic alphabets and duas. Homeschooling him for his Islamic education is definetely a challenge, but so rewarding at the same time. Alhumdulillah.
- Mr Z coming back safe and sound from a short business trip.
- Bringing Local Flair back on the blog, this time featuring Rock Paper Project. You can also see the painting I created using their “Jetting Off” Paintlet in this timelapse video here.
- Little Z being so vocal and expanding his vocabulary at a startling pace! That boy has me in fits of laughter with the things he comes out with!
- Getting lovely feedback about my @mummyonmymindstore portrait doodles! Order yours now for your loved ones! 🙂
- Our once-every-year trip to Global Village and eating ALL the Churros!
- A visit to the beach…before summer sets in and it becomes torture to do so.
- Grabbing a good deal online! hehe!
- A visit to Motiongate with the whole family from some adrenaline rush and lots of fun.
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in February last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
