Things I said Alhumdulillah for in August…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in August:
- Getting dentist appointments checked off our summer to do list! Little Z had his first teeth cleaning session and he actually loved it! I definitely wasn’t expecting that but the doctor was honestly so lovely with both boys!
- Trying to be as organised as possible and getting all the back to school shopping done! I am also over the moon to have the opportunity to work with Marks & Spencers on their Back to School campaign!
- Turning 29 Alhumdulillah! I was spoilt with plenty of cake, just what I like!
- Spending a day at Wild Wadi waterpark with the boys, splashing away and going on plenty of thrilling slides! I discovered that Master Z is a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
- Witnessing the epic show that is La Perle. I can’t recommend it highly enough, the boys were absolutely mesmerised by the acrobats and stunts. A must add to your Dubai Bucket List!
- Celebrating Mr Z and my 8th wedding anniversary! In sha Allah many more years of happiness and love to come!
- Mr Z and I got the second shot of the Pfizer vaccine. It had me completely wiped out the next day, and I couldn’t be more thankful for our good health and having access to vaccines.
- I am happy to announce that I am working with Al Jazira! You can shop Al Jazira eggs & poultry on www.aljazirapoultry.com and get 15% off when using the code ✨BIMUMMY✨ (Free home delivery, no minimum purchase! Yay!) Also, I would love it if you would check out this super simple Egg Muffins recipe I created – perfect for school breakfasts and lunch boxes!
- Fresh roses in my home!
- The start of School 2021-2022! Master Z is back to school, heading into Year 2 and Little Z has officially started school, heading into FS1! I am a ball of emotions, and miss my little sidekick so much! All these free hours in the morning is going to take some getting used to….
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in August last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
