Things I said Alhumdulillah for in April…
Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.
Things I said Alhumdulillah for in April:
- Having the most relaxed start to Ramadan 2022 thanks to Spring Break. Ramadan Mubarak!
- Master Z keeping his first fast! He has been insisting on keeping fasts since last Ramadan, and this time I finally caved. I do think he’s still a little too young but he did so well Masha Allah and now definitely has new found respect for the month of Ramadan. I am so proud of him.
- Finally returning to the Masjid to pray Jummah namaz after 2 years, Alhumdulillah!
- Iftar with friends and family.
- When the watermelon you pick is super sweet and delicious. Also, Laban.
- Getting the chance to work with Japan’s number 1 skincare brand: HadaLabo. Low key impressed with myself for the content creation idea of my reel and how it turned out. You can watch it here.
- When your husband fills up your car’s petrol tank so you don’t have to. Yay!
- Watching Little Z’s reactions during an automatic car wash!
- Master Z completing his kid’s journal and learning a new name of Allah every day. Also, reading what he writes makes my heart melt!
- Master Z and I going on a little Mummy and Son date to Big Bad Wolf Book Sale for a major book haul. I got plenty of activity books for the books, so I’m hoping that should keep them busy till the near future!
- Building a personalised Mozabrick masterpiece with my boys. It was so much fun to create with my boys, and I think it makes such a great gift! Use the code ZEYNA5 for an additional 5% off their Ramadan discounted offer! Here’s their website, if you’d like to know more.
These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in April last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
