In what words do I express my fear. My fear for the lives of my family and friends living in England.

For my mother, father and my younger teen brother.

Perhaps I should warn them to stay in their homes?

Perhaps I should ask them to avoid the markets?

Perhaps I should tell them no longer to commute by train, or even by bus?

But most definitely not to walk on the pedestrian walkway either.

Perhaps I should tell them to install double locks on their doors at night?

Perhaps I should ask them to be more wary of any suspicious behaviour around them?

Perhaps I should tell them to avoid using the Underground?

Perhaps I should plead them not to visit the tourist places anymore?

Perhaps I should suggest they install metal grills outside their windows and doors?

Perhaps I should tell them to run the other way as soon as they hear a siren?

Perhaps I should tell them to avoid town at night?

But also not to roam around outside during the day either?

Using what words do I keep them all safe? My friends, my family? All my fellow citizens of the beloved country I still call home?

Perhaps I should say all this and more?

Instead I whisper, Take Care. Stay Safe.

Instead I put my faith in God, and send a silent prayer their way.
