Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balms – Review…
I’m a lip balm girl, through and through. The use of matte lipsticks whenever I am out and about is incredibly drying on the lips, and with the weather constantly changing, this results in dry chapped lips. This is why whilst I am at home, I am constantly applying and reapplying lip balms.
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Original and Dark Chocolate & Cherry Tinted Lip Balms
Let me talk about why Palmer’s Lip Balms are a great addition to your daily routine or handbag. Firstly, you can take you pick from Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Original Lip Balm or the Dark Chocolate & Cherry Ultra Moisturizing Tinted Lip Balm. I was introduced to the Palmer’s lip balms last April, so I was already aware of it’s moisturising benefits, as well as the fact that they include SPF 15, making them perfectly suitable for Dubai weather.
Whereas last April, I couldn’t quite choose which one of them was my favourite, I think I have a clear favourite now. As much as I love the pink tint that comes with applying the Dark Chocolate & Cherry Lip Balm, there is no hint of chocolate in it’s taste or smell. Also, it tends to make my lips tingle, which I am not quite sure why. Therefore, my go to is the Cocoa Butte Formula Original Lip Balm, for its comforting scent.
However, as Master Z has been watching me applying the original lip balm, he decided he wanted the Dark Chocolate and Cherry Tinted Lip Balm for himself. He prefers it over my pick and gladly applies it every morning after his bath. If it means that his lips are also prevented from being chapped, as well as my own, then I have no complaints.
Another factor as to why these lip balms are great is that it is perfectly travel sized so as to fit into your hand bag or back pocket, for touch ups through the day. Also, because it is a roll up lip balm, it avoids any hygiene issues as opposed to being stored in a tin where you have to dip your fingers into, as most lip balms are.
Key Ingredients
Both of these lip balms feature the same key ingredients, which are;
Cocoa Butter: A rich natural moisturiser that leaves skin soft and silky, transforming even the roughest, driest areas into buttery soft skin.
Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and imperfections on the skin, giving a more even and toned appearance.
