Palmer’s His & Hers Body Lotion- Review…
February 14th has come and gone, but that does not mean the love needs to stop. Love should be celebrated through out the entire month but also through out the year. But seeing as February is one of those months where Love is very much in the air, I would love to introduce you to Palmer’s His & Her’s Body Lotions!
Both 250 ml bottles of Cocoa Butter goodness ensure 24 hour moisture to keep your skin supple. Cocoa Butter not only smells luscious but is also great in many other ways, and my skin loves to lap it all up! So what is Cocoa Butter and what can it do for YOU?
Cocoa Butter
- Cocoa Butter is vegetable wax extracted from the cocoa beans.
- It provides a barrier for the skin that will protect it from outside agents.
- Cocoa butter is a great source of antioxidants, helping to save your skin from inevitable signs of aging and environmental stress factors.
- It is great at healing scars, scratches and stretch marks thanks to the antioxidants it contains.
- It also improves the appearance of discolouration or scarring if you use the cocoa butter regularly.
So how did Mr Z and I get on with these Cocoa Butter Body Lotions?
For Her
Using the Cocoa Butter Formula Body Lotion for the past few days has been so nostalgic for me because this is the one I used during my pregnancy with Master Z and the smell of Cocoa Butter brought back so many memories. This lotion really helped my dry itchy skin back then so I already know it does the job for me.
This rich luxurious body lotion provides deep hydration that absorbs quickly in the skin whilst creating a protective barries that locks in the moisture. I must say, this barrier does feel rather greasy if you lather on too much, so I tend to use this before bed. I much prefer the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula in terms of texture because it does not leave that greasy feeling, so if you are the same, you may want to try out the other formulas to see what suits you best for different times of the day.
Though I do not need this lotion for a bulging tummy anymore, I am using it on the dry patches that I have on my body, especially around my ankles. With regular use, I hope that the appearance of the dry patches will lighten and heal, so I will keep you posted on that. If you have dry or eczema prone skin, this emollient rich lotion is a great fit for you to ensure soft, smooth and supple skin.
For Him
The Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula for Men is catered to combat rough, dry skin with it’s fast absorbing formula. Upon arrival, both Mr Z and I agreed that we loved the masculine looking grey silver packaging. As soon as Mr Z tried some on, I simply had to give it a whiff, and I must say I really love the musk undertones of the lotion that make the lotion smell very manly indeed.
Mr Z’s comments on reviewing the Face and Body Lotion include praise not only for the smell but also for the refreshing and hydrating feeling when applied after a shave. Only a few days before receiving the lotion, he was complaining about how the skin under his beard was feeling dry, but upon using this lotion, his skin was back to it’s supple self. Made with pure Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E for maximum protection, skin feels invigorated and well moisturised.
I think it’s safe to say that we both give the Body Lotions our seal of approval and would highly recommend it to those facing difficulties with dry skin. Also, feel free to have a look at the other Palmer’s reviews here. I also would like to mention that my bottle of Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil became empty last week and I have just repurchased it this weekend. I am absolutely loving it and really think it has done wonders for my face in terms of dark spots.

Comments
I’ve loved Palmers during the pregnancy but somehow never back to buying one – a good reminder that I should. Love the gifs that you created!
Thank you! Yes, you absolutely should, and thanks, It took me Ages! haha!
Loving ours as well ☺
Yay!
I’m used to applying medicated creams ONLY for extra sensitive skin. Haven’t tried Palmers but will give it a shot!
Sure, please do. Palmer’s products don’t have many of the nasties like with the other creams, but do check with your dermatologist first if your skin is super sensitive and used to medical attention.
I think i am going to try it out
Please do, and let me know how you get on with them!
Palm Cocoa Butter is my best friend during my preggo days 😉 after reading your post, I should definitely grab some of their products in my next stop at a shop. Thanks for sharing this Zeyna!
You’re very welcome! Yes, do give them a try and let me know how you get on!
I really love the smell of cocoa butter, and I’m glad they now have a men’s version of this lotion!
Oh yes, my husband has been using it ever since, and he’s normally very picky with products!
