I am back with this month’s crafts project that I have created using supplies from Pretty Paper Studio, an online crafts shop. For those of you who missed it, I am honoured to be part of their 12 member PPS UAE Design Team, who bring you a range of fun creative art projects for the next couple of months, complete with informative tutorials so you too can recreate them at home. You can have a look at my previous crafts projects, where I created a Number Recognition Game for my Toddler and a 3D Seashell Memory Frame.

The theme for the month of January is “Hope”, and for it I decided to create a newborn baby shadow box, If you have been following me on social media, you will know that I gave birth to my second son earlier this month. The shadow box uses one of the first ultrasound scan images of Little Z, showing his tiny little body as well as his heartbeat whilst in the womb. Hearing the heartbeat filled me with such hope every single time, as well as eagerness to meet him. Now that he is finally here, I want to celebrate that hope his little heart beat would give me.
