How to create a Pop Up Butterfly Card | Photo Tutorial | Pretty Paper Studio
It’s been a while, but I am back with my crafting tutorials, using supplies from Pretty Paper Studio, a crafts shop for all your arty needs. I am honoured to be part of their PPS UAE Design Team, who bring you a range of fun creative art projects, complete with informative tutorials so you too can recreate them at home.
The theme for February is…yes, you guessed it: “Love”. How could it not be, right? Between my husband and I, we don’t exactly celebrate V-day, but I did love exchanging cards with him. This was pre-kids of course, and it’s a shame this practice fizzled out. That is why, I wanted to rekindle those memories with a lovely pop up card for my beloved, with the help of my imaginative toddler of course to create a beautiful splatter effect for the butterfly wings using mere chalk!
What do you think of it? To know how Master Z and I went about creating it, head on over to the photo tutorial I have written on the Pretty Paper Studio Blog to have a read.
I hope you enjoy reading my photo tutorial, and if you do get inspired to recreate it, please do share your projects with me by posting photos on social media using the hashtags #ppsuae #prettypaperstudio #madewithppsuae . Don’t forget to tag me on Instagram and/or Facebook, so I can see!
You can also join the Pretty Paper Studio Monthly Challenge through the following easy steps:
1. Create a project with this month’s theme in mind.
2. Upload your project photo to “February 2019 Challenge” Photo Album in the Pretty Paper Studio Facebook Group.
3. All entries are due by February 28, 2019.
4. Challenge winner will receive a prize pack worth AED 50.
Note: Supplies for the Design Team Projects are provided courtesy of Pretty Paper Studio, however this does not affect my opinion for the online store and neither my passion for creating and sharing my craft projects.
