I am a HUGE list maker. Grocery Lists. To Do Lists. To Buy Lists. Holiday Packing Lists. You name it, I have probably listed it! So as I inch towards the Third Trimester of my second pregnancy, it dawned on me. I will be having to pack my hospital bags soon, and I should also probably start acquiring things for the baby, since there’s not much left of the baby gear that I used with Master Z. Having done this before, I know how daunting this list can be for a first time mother. So in the process of writing it down for the second time, I decided why not make it all fancy-shmancy and share it with all you lovely Mamas too! This way not only will I have made my own checklist for the hospital bags as well as new born essentials I will be needing, but I will hopefully have ticked off this list-making task on your own list as you inch towards the end of your pregnancy.

Hospital Bag Checklist

The first list entails all the items you will require for labour and delivery, not only for yourself but also for your newborn during the hospital stay. (The number of items will of course be subject to the amount of days you spend in hospital.)

I have also added a little section for things to take for the older sibling, as this time Master Z will be accompanying myself and Mr Z, for quite a few hours at least of the entire delivery.

Newborn Essentials Checklist

There is an endless amount of things you will need for a new baby, and though they be little, they be taking up a mighty amount of space in the house! My Newborn Essentials checklist contains all the things you will be needing, most of them on a daily basis, for the first couple of months of your baby’s life.
