I am back with another crafts project using supplies from Pretty Paper Studio, a crafts shop for all your arty needs. I am honoured to be part of their PPS UAE Design Team, who bring you a range of fun creative art projects for the next couple of months, complete with informative tutorials so you too can recreate them at home. The theme for the month of August is “Rainbow”. I have been meaning to create a Calendar for Master Z for a very long time, and this month’s theme was perfect for just that. I want that with the help of his very own calendar, he begins to recognise the concept of days of the week, months and dates, as well as learn how they are spelt through the sight words. We have already been using it for a while now, and he looks forward to setting the date of the day every morning with me. It’s not only fun, but educational too, and I really love how it has turned out!
