5 reasons why we love Muslim Kids TV…
1: It is safe and shares Halal entertainment only, with no ads.
Whilst previously using other video platforms, there are kids shows I have had to block from my children’s accounts due to them not being appropriate. Thankfully, with Muslim Kids TV, I do not need to worry about looking over their shoulder to ensure the content they are consuming is safe and halal for them. Safety is my biggest priority when it comes to technology that my sons use and it is such a relief that the creators of this platform feel the same way. My children also love that there are no adverts (again, many of which are usually not age appropriate on other platforms) to watch and skip in between the games and videos they play.
With an easy to use interface, I really appreciate that Muslim Kids TV also has a Live TV function allowing a stream of shows to play one after the other.
2: Teaches Islam in an enjoyable and interactive way.
Many of the shows, games and e-books encourage Islamic values. I also love that much of the quality content encourages inclusiveness with a wide range of characters from different backgrounds so that children are able to better relate to them. Whether it’s learning about the months of Islam, etiquette and qualities of a Muslim or how to pray and perform wudhu, you are sure to find an abundance of videos, e-books and games related to these topics.
Examples of resources on Muslim Kids TV include:
“Ask the Sheikh” series – Great for growing inquisitive minds, in this series a Sheikh answers difficult questions that most children have about different aspects of Islam, such as “Why do we pray 5 times a day?” or “Why do we celebrate Eid?”.
“Learn to Pray: Rukoo” – An e-book detailing what to say in Rukoo and it’s meaning.
“Baba Ali Kids” series – Aimed for younger children, join Mumu and Baba Ali as they have fun learning new skills such as Sharing.
“Haiya Bid Doa” series – Habib and Zara live in Malaysia and in each episode, they learn a different dua with some explanation and which you can also practice along with.

3: It has over 15,000 resources to support teaching Islamic and educational concepts not just for kids but adults too.
Along with videos, games and e-books, Muslim Kids TV also has a plethora of printables that you as a parent or teacher can download for yourself and children to benefit from. Whether it’s colouring pages or matching tasks, these printables aid to reinforce the topics being taught.
Muslim Kids TV also has a Blog dedicated to parents sharing Islamic reflections and Islamic parenting advice, offering a much needed community spirit. I have found it especially helpful when it comes to advice regarding raising Muslim tweens and teens!

4: Encourages learning Arabic along with a Quran Recitation Buddy.

I have attached some resources that are particularly useful for my younger son (aged 5 years old) who is currently learning Arabic alphabets, whereas the Quran tab is beneficial for my older son (aged 8 years old) who is memorising Juz Amma, as it aids with recitation and practice. Muslim Kids TV also offers mini Quran Tafseer sessions that I hope to explore with my older son soon.

5: Gives opportunity for hands on learning through Arts and Crafts.
Muslim Kids TV is not only a platform for children to look into a screen and absorb visual information. They can watch and follow along to video tutorials that help in creating their own masterpieces or work on the artistic printables that you can download, where skills such as cutting, sticking, colouring in are required.
